Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day, is an American R&B/Soul musician and singer. Her awards include the Grammy Award, Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award are among the numerous awards she's received. She was also nominated for an Academy Award. Andra isn't only an old school R&B singer, her gospel jazz roots and blues can be heard in a style which is effortless as well as sophisticated. Her debut album, Cheers To The Autumn (2015) is a smash record in the hiphop/R&B genre which earned her a variety of Grammy and Academy Award nominations. Born Cassandra Monique Batie in Edmonds Washington Andra Day grew up in San Diego and its metropolitan area where she performed in worship and attended the School of Creative and Performing Arts. When she left the School of Creative and Performing Arts, Andra Day began to concentrate on modern R&B and Pop but soon realized her jazz-inspired soul influences were what she was attracted to. Kai Millard Morris was able to see a live performance that Day performed and took Day's songs home with the singer. Motown legendary Adrian Gurvitz connected Day and the veteran businessman in music. Day got signed by Warner Bros. after gaining an enormous YouTube following together with Gurvitz and Jeffrey Evans Buskin. The song quickly taken up and played in radio stations by a variety of DJs. The singer then joined Warner Bros. Records. Adrian Gurvitz produced her first album Cheers for the Fall. The album included the track"Rise Up," which was an anthem to protests for social justice around all over the world. Day was awarded two Grammy nominations, one of which was for Best R&B Album. The United States Versus Billie Holiday was her second studio album which was released in 2019. It was a conceptual record about Billie Holiday's life. The United States Versus Billie Holiday is a biography of Holiday which was released in the in the same year. Andi Mathichak was born and raised in the US. She made her television debut in series such as 666 Park Avenue, Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods before making her movie debut as Allyson Nelson on the film horror series Halloween as well as the sequels. Andi matichak is a American actress, born 03 May 1994 Framingham in Massachusetts.
