Lita Ford and Francia Raisa
Lita Rossana Ford is born in the United Kingdom and was an American singer, guitarist as well as writer. In the latter part of the 70s, she played as the lead guitar for the hard-rocking All-girl group The Runaways. Though the group didn't make much progress in America however they became extremely popular internationally. This was especially true in Japan. Ford began a heavy metal solo career when the group broke up in 1979. Her first solo release was called 'Dancin' on the Edge, followed by her record Out for Blood. Ford was absent from the scene for some time after both albums failed to be a huge success. Her smashing hit, 'Lita came out in 1989. Kiss Me Deadly (single) and Close My Eyes Forever (ballad) were two of her most popular songs. Unfortunately, her popularity was short-lived and she remained absent from the music industry for a number of years. Her re-emergence was with the releases of "Black" from 1995, and "Wicked Wonderland" which came out almost 15 years following. In 2016, she released her latest album of studio work "Time Capsule". Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the Certified Guitar Legend Award.
