Luciana Paoluzzi as well as Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the daughter of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress of Benito Mussolini). It is not known if she had having siblings. Luciana was a graduate of a local high-school in 1955 and was a student of naval engineering at Milan, at the Scientific Academy of Milan.
